Levant Mine near St Just, Cornwall

The ruins of the Levant Mine are found along the Cornwall coast quite close to St Just. The mine extracted copper and tin from underground, over 500m below the seabed, and reaching out to sea for over a mile. Boys as young as 9 worked in this mine.
